Applying to the Leadership Academy
A girl wishing to submit an application to attend the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy must:
--Be a citizen or a legal resident of South Africa
--Be a girl aged 11, 12 or 13, entering grade 7 in 2011
--Have a family household gross income of R7000 or less per month
--Be recommended by her school principal or teacher
The application deadline for the 2011 school year is March 25, 2010.
